At Ramana Learning Center, we don't believe in passive test prep. Every course we design is built around our proven 30 – 50 – 20 model — a structured, three-phase system that takes students from understanding the material to owning it on test day. Here is how it works:
A high SAT or ACT score starts with a strong foundation. In the Learning Phase, our instructors teach and review every concept students need to master — from algebra and data analysis to grammar rules and reading comprehension strategies. We don't rush through material. We stay until every student has a clear, confident understanding of each concept, using focused exercises to reinforce what was taught and answer every question along the way.
The bulk of our program is devoted to deliberate, data-driven practice — and for good reason. Knowing the material is not enough; students must be able to apply it under real test conditions. We give students a series of timed practice tests, then do something most programs skip: we analyze every challenging question as a group. Students see exactly where they went wrong, understand why, and learn how to avoid the same mistake next time.
By the end of this phase, your student won't just know the content — they will have developed the "eagle eye" precision to catch traps, interpret tricky phrasing, and answer every question with accuracy and confidence.
The final phase prepares students for something no amount of concept review can replace: the stamina and mental focus required to perform at their best across a full-length exam. Students complete full-length, timed tests under realistic test-day conditions, building the endurance and composure they need when it matters most.
The result is a student who walks into the SAT or ACT not just prepared — but ready. Ready to manage their time, stay sharp from start to finish, and turn their preparation into the score they deserve.
